Professional services firms in Australia and Saudi Arabia are strengthening their relationships with Chinese clients amid continued outbound investment from China into global markets.
Major accountancy firms in both countries report growing business opportunities as Chinese companies seek local expertise for their international operations and investments. This expansion comes as Chinese businesses maintain their overseas investment activities.
According to industry observers, Chinese companies are particularly active in sectors such as energy, infrastructure, and technology across various regions including the Middle East and Asia-Pacific. A recent EY report Chinese companies invested USD147.9 billion overseas in 2023.
“We’re seeing increased demand for advisory services from Chinese clients looking to navigate local regulatory environments and establish operations in our market,” said a senior partner at an Australian professional services firm.
Similar developments are occurring in Saudi Arabia, where accounting and advisory firms report growing engagement with Chinese businesses as bilateral economic ties strengthen between the two nations.
